Becky Ropp-LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor
About
My name is Becky Ropp. I would like to acknowledge the strength it takes to recognize a problem and the courage required to address it. To seek counseling can be a difficult decision. Counseling has shown to have many benefits including a resolution of specific problems, a decrease in symptoms, increase in self-esteem and better relationships. I am aware that entering into a counseling relationship is a difficult decision and I commend you for taking the initial step toward this process. Each step taken is one step closer to the final goal.
I am a licensed professional counselor. I have obtained my Master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am a nationally certified counselor. I am also certified to work with those individuals who suffer from co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance abuse.
I work primarily with adults who want to make change in their life and need assistance to accomplish these goals.
My education and experience have helped me to develop an empathetic view of counseling. I believe in an individualized approach to treatment in a caring, compassionate environment. My focus is to empower you by assisting with identifying what is needed to achieve a happier, more satisfying life. I support you in reaching your goals. In order for this to occur, counseling must be a joint process. I will assist you to identify supports both internally and externally and to develop coping skills in order to make healthy choices.
